Agnico-Eagle's Boyd says gold smash was orchestrated in paper market

A major mining company CEO, Sean Boyd of Agnico-Eagle, today acknowledges to King World News that the recent smashing of the price of gold was "orchestrated in the paper market." Boyd adds that the smash has only stimulated demand for real metal while reducing mine production. As a result he expects a 1970s-style gold mania to develop.
