GATA Director Wistar Holt to host reception during PDAC in Toronto

Section: Daily Dispatches

8:53p ET Tuesday, February 27, 2007

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

GATA never gets invited to the annual Prospectors and Developers Association conference in Toronto, but our Board of Directors member Wistar Holt of Holt & Shapard Capital Management of St. Louis has registered for the convention under an assumed name -- E. Presley -- and will be host to a modest reception for GATA sympathizers during the conference next week.

You're invited.

The details:

Time: 7-10 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007
Place: The Duke of Westminster Pub, 77 Adelaide St. West, Toronto
Telephone: 416-368-2761

The Duke of Westminster pub is inside the First Canadian Place building, the tallest building in Toronto's financial district, easily identifiable by its white stone finish. The pub is just inside the Adelaide Street entrance between York and Bay Streets.

Holt also will be easily identifiable. He'll be wearing the gold-colored reflective disco leisure suit and a "Ron Paul for President" button.

There will be snacks and an open bar -- that is, the bar will be open and you'll be able to get a drink if you pay for it and if Holt's friends haven't cleaned it out already.

To hell with PDAC. Nobody in Vancouver ever minds what we do there. That's where the REAL mining people are.
