Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

GATA returns to Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday and Monday, January 20 and 21, 2008, for Cambridge Conferences' Vancouver Resource Investment Conference.

Besides GATA Chairman Bill Murphy and your secretary/treasurer, speakers will include GATA favorites John Embry of Sprott Asset Management; Peter Grandich of the Grandich Letter; Frank Holmes of U.S. Global Investors; Al Korelin of the Korelin Economics Report; John Lee of Mau Capital; David Morgan of Silver-Investor.com and The Morgan Report; Jay Taylor of J. Taylor's Gold & Technology Stocks letter; and James Turk of the Freemarket Gold & Money Report and GoldMoney.com.

Also speaking will be a few who are not among our favorites, but then you always need to hear the other side.

Dozens of resource companies will be exhibiting and making presentations as well, providing investors with the opportunity to get close to the people who are trying to wrest real wealth from the earth.

The conference again will be held at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre on Coal Harbor. Admission is free for those who register in advance, and the conference has arranged a special rate for rooms at the beautiful adjacent hotel, the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

And upon the conference's conclusion, GATA will hold a reception from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 21, in the Pan Pacific's Cypress Suite, which has a beautiful view of Coal Harbor. Admission will be free and there will be free snacks, a cash bar, and plenty of company congenial to complaints about the world financial system.

You can learn more about the conference and register for it here:

Vancouver is beautiful at all times of the year, including January, and we hope to see you there.
