James Turk: Inflation fears and food shortages

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

James Turk, editor of the Freemarket Gold & Money Report, founder of GoldMoney, and consultant to GATA, occupies the Commentator's Corner at Kitco tonight, and he argues that food shortages are being caused by monetary inflation. Following copper, oil, and potash, food now is being monetized -- maybe in part because the Western central banks won't let gold and silver completely fulfill their traditional monetary roles.
