Growing controversy over gold backwardation

Meanwhile someone posting under the name of Izabella Kaminska writes about gold backwardation at the Financial Times' Alphaville site, interviewing gold fund manager Evy Hambro, who observes that while gold is in backwardation in dollars and yen, it remains in contango in euros, British pounds, and Australian dollars.
