Dear Friend of GATA and Gold (and Silver):

Please consider joining GATA at three major investment conferences this fall.

GATA Chairman Bill Murphy and GATA board member Adrian Douglas, publisher of the Market Force Analysis letter, will speak at the Silver Summit, to be held Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25, at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Washington. Many GATA favorites will also speak in Spokane, including Sprott Asset Management's chief investment strategist, John Embry, and Hugo Salinas Price, president of the Mexican Civic Association for Silver. Many mining companies will be exhibiting. Conference information can be found here:

Just days later, Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, Murphy and your secretary/treasurer will speak at the Toronto Resource Investment Conference, along with GATA consultant and GoldMoney founder James Turk and GATA favorites like Peter Grandich, market analyst for Agoracom.com, and Jay Taylor of J. Taylor's Gold, Energy, and Tech Stocks letter. The conference will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Front Street in Toronto, which is offering a discounted rate for conference participants. Dozens of mining companies will have exhibits at the conference. Registration is free and you can register and learn more about the conference here:

Then from Thursday to Sunday, October 8-11, comes the granddaddy of U.S. hard-money investment conferences, the New Orleans Investment Conference, which will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. Your secretary/treasurer will be speaking along with GATA favorites Thom Calandra of the Ticker Trax letter, Wits Gold Chairman Adam Fleming, U.S. Global Investors CEO Frank Holmes, and Gold Newsletter's Brien Lundin. The New Orleans conference always has a three-way ideological debate and this year's combatants will be former White House adviser Karl Rove for conservatism, International Speculator publisher Doug Casey for libertarianism, and former Vermont Governor and Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean for liberalism. Many mining and resource companies will be exhibiting here too.

The New Orleans conference is a long one and has an admission fee, but you can cut it down to $595 if you register by the end of July. And if you register through the banner ad on the home page at GATA's Internet site --

http://www.gata.org/

-- the conference will generously donate a commission to GATA.

We hope to see many friends at these conferences.

CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer
Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee Inc.
