National Enquirer could find its biggest scandal in gold

Section: Daily Dispatches

2:30p ET Monday, December 7, 2009

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Disgusted with the cowardice, sloth, and dishonesty of much of the U.S. and British financial news media, GATA Chairman Bill Murphy today appealed to the supermarket tabloid National Enquirer to pursue the gold price suppression issue. (After all, many of the celebrities followed assiduously by the National Enquirer wear gold, and, if they're smart, invest in it too.) Murphy's appeal is titled "The Great Gold Scandal," and while it is addressed to the National Enquirer, of course it would work fine to introduce the issue to any news organization. If you have any news media contacts, please pass it along. You can find it at GoldDrivers.com here:
