Writing tonight for Jim Puplava's FinancialSense.com, GATA consultant Rob Kirby of Kirby Analytics in Toronto disputes suggestions that a decline in demand for the silver exchange-traded fund SLV signifies a decline in demand for the actual metal. The evidence, Kirby writes, is that demand for silver is increasing and that the nominal price is being suppressed by the sale of silver derivatives.
