C-SPAN2 to broadcast GATA conference at 4 a.m. ET Thursday

Section: Daily Dispatches

10p ET Tuesday, February 12, 2002

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

I stayed in Washington an extra day to stay
on top of the C-SPAN taping of GATA's press
luncheon at the National Press Club. The NPC
is most professional, as you might expect.
Kudos to them.

Catherine Austin Fitts is a gem of gems. I
think you will find her presentation today
most illuminating. Once GATA wins the day,
which is a sure shot, I will do what I can to
assist Catherine's vision of what has to be
done to correct the American financial
system. Catherine is a wonderful speaker,
which you will soon find out.

However, according to the feedback I have so
far from Catherine and others, GATA
Secretary/Treasurer Chris Powell stole the
show with his presentation. As I have said
many times, and as I did this afternoon at
the lunch, Chris is my hero.

I just got off the phone with C-SPAN. They
promised to call me in the morning to advise
on the airing time of the videotape of our
conference.

Why is this so important?

In essence, if they see the tape, all members
of the U.S. press can spend two hours of
their time just as if they attended the
lunch. They will learn the story of a
lifetime. When you know the airing time,
please contact any journalists you know and
suggest they watch.

If they do so and want the packet of
informational material that was distributed
at the luncheon, GATA will send it to them by
express mail. All they have to do is send a
request to GATA at GATAComm@aol.com.

GATA is counting on all its U.S. supporters
to stay abreast of this. This is our chance
to blow the gold scandal wide open.

In addition to the press, as soon as I am
able to give you the airing time, please send
the airing time message to everyone you know
on the Internet and ask them to spread the
word too. They will be STUNNED by what they
hear, and excited about investing in gold and
the gold shares.

Our day is at hand. YOU can help GATA win
the day.

I will be on top of this early tomorrow. The
C-SPAN person dealing with the airing time
promised me a call by 9 a.m. EST. I will let
you know what she tells me.
