Gold lease rates being increasingly negative suggest that central banks are lending less and less gold, likely because they have less to lease, the TF Metals Report's Turd Ferguson writes today. He adds that the correlation between negative lease rates and rising gold prices is so strong as to constitute an excellent gold trading signal.
