Offtake from the Shanghai Gold Exchange continues at rates that belie the World Gold Council's low estimates of China's gold demand, Bullion Star market analyst and GATA consultant Koos Jansen reports today. Jansen explains it as Chinese government policy to restore gold to the international monetary system.
