Phoenix opens strong; and a matching grant for GATA

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Cambridge House's Phoenix Resource Investment Conference at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel and Resort in Glendale, Arizona, opened this morning with strong attendance. (Maybe people are starting to pay attention to what's happening in the financial world.) The speaker hall, which seats 600, was filled for the morning presentations, which included GATA Chairman Bill Murphy's. Speakers Peter Grandich, commentator for Agoracom.com and moderator of the conference, and Thom Calandra of the "ThomWatch" column at Stockhouse.com and the "Ticker Trax" financial letter, graciously urged support for GATA's work.

And our friend S.T. has just pledged to match the next three contributions of $100 to GATA, so that $300 will quickly become $600 for us. You can take S.T. up on his pledge by donating to GATA by credit card here:

Remember that donations to GATA are federally tax-deductible in the United States.
