U.S. Mint suspends production of more gold and silver coins

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold (and Silver):

Mike Zielinski, editor of the Gold and Silver Blog, reports that the U.S. Mint has suspended or delayed production of nearly all gold and silver products except for the basic 1-ounce gold and silver eagles, which themselves are being rationed. It sure seems as if the Mint doesn't want to go into the market to bid real metal up to meet public demand.
