Liberty Dollar indictment alleges counterfeiting

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

The Justice Department's press release on the indictments of the Liberty Dollar people alleges counterfeiting, which seems pretty lame, insofar as the Liberty Dollar medallions -- mustn't say "coins" -- have far more intrinsic value than any of the coins they supposedly are impersonating.
