Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

On his program last night Bloomberg Television's "Asia Confidential" host Bernie Lo cited his recent interview with GATA Chairman Bill Murphy as he questioned Angus Geddes, CEO of the Fat Prophets market research house in Sydney, Australia. Geddes remarked that he expected the gold price to rise into the thousands of dollars, followed Murphy's commentary at, and isn't sure about the gold price suppression scheme but "where there's smoke, there's fire." Lo even brought up concerns that tungsten has been substituted for gold reserves. The relevant comments about gold price suppression begin at the 3:40 mark at this abbreviated link:

CHRIS POWELL, Secretary/Treasurer
